Services and Fees

I have enjoyed working with a variety of populations in a variety of settings, from teenagers to older adults, from individual to couple's, family, and group therapies, from universities to community agencies and private practices. I am happy to offer a 15-minute consultation to potential clients to discuss if therapy with me would be a good match for your needs. Payment, Fees, and Insurance

I accept payment by cash, check, and credit card.

I am currently in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care, Johns Hopkins EHP/USFHP, and am a Tricare non-network certified provider. Be in touch with your insurance company to find out how much your deductible and co-pays are. If you have met your annual deductible (the out-of-pocket amount you need to spend before insurance covers services), then you may have co-pays (what you have to pay per session) of as little as $5.

Individuals with other insurances typically will have success receiving post-session reimbursement through their insurance company. This involves (1) contacting your insurance company, (2) learning what their reimbursement rate is for fees from an out-of-network provider (mention CPT code 90837), (3) completing upfront payments in full, (4) submitting my invoice to the insurance company for reimbursement (in many cases, I can also submit insurance claims for you without being an in-network provider).

I am able to accept some clients on a sliding scale basis. If needed, please inquire about this with me during our initial consultation.
